I just recently bought a new car from an auto auction. The car comes as is. The car has a hornet security system in it. However the car did not come with a remote. I do have the owner's manual for the security system and it is still installed in the car.
It needs set up by a shop that deals with them. Look up DEI on the internet and see if there is a local dealer in your area that does installs. They need to set up the one you bought , it depends on the vintage what needs doing some are soldered , some
