I have a 2007 Honda Civic LX, and I am thinking of getting an AEM Cold-Air Intake system installed. Thing is, is that I have a stock air filter/dust-pollen filter, and I was wondering if that's going to affect the peformance of the intake.
you wont be able to use the stock filter with the aftermarket intake, which comes with a filter anyway

"How to install a vent crankcase ventilation filter Air intake valve?
I have a cold air intake AEM already installed on my Civic Si 2007. How do I install this thing when a tube is in place for installation. If I take the tube off and install the ventilation vent filter, Where do I put the hose that took off from the intake pipe that was connected to the other end to the engine? Does anyone have step by step or INSTUCTIONS photos this facility?
This is a simple procedure. at the end of the tube on the engine could be turned off and the crankcase ventilation filter can be installed simply by pushing the filter. The end that was connected to the air intake should be closed or even sealed using a rubber hose, and clamp. You just clip in a small part of the rubber hose and squeeze the end of something that can be used.
