Bid on this Chevy Truck
Up for auction is my 1987 Chevy Silverado Mud truck! Before i get into details i want to say this truck was built from the frame up, i started with a bare frame and went from there, this is not a show truck and never intended it to be it was all about function not fashion. when building this truck i replaced anything that was worn or looked like it wouldn't last, basically everything is new or close to it. this truck has never seen mud or a MINNESOTA winter since finished in spring of 2007, ive put a total of 3,600 miles on this truck! thats it, stored, fogged and fuel stabilized every winter! please feel free to email me or ask for more pictures! please read take the time and read all the way through! there was a lot of money and a lot more time invested in this truck than id like to admit, i will have more pics available later in the week, i have to go out to where it is stored to get more pics. i want to also say upfront this truck has NEVER SEEN MUD!!
Front Dana 44 HD new u-joints, new seals, new bearings, new ball joints, "SOLID" cast steel diff cover, flat top knuckles, Cross over high steering system , SKY MFG high steer arms with .5 inch spacers all new GM one ton TRE's new 2wd steering box and pitman arm, ORD steering box brace. custom dual shock and panhard bar setup!
custom battery box mounted on right rear frame rail made of 1/8 steel! designed after a CAT 930G battery boxes, 0/0 battery cable runs to the cab into a Flaming river emergency power shut off then back out to a rebuilt starter, there is a flip switch for the HEI power, and the choke also a oil pressure saftey switch in the fuel pump circuit. 6.2 liter diesel radiator (4 core)
like i said a little ways up the front bumper is an ORD winch bumper, the rear is a Drop HD steel bumper made from heavy steel this is a heavy duty bumper and the receiver under it was custom built with a drop bar and 2 tow points, after i built this drop receiver it weighed in at 160lbs this truck has heavy protection front and rear!
