I am very disappointed with the farce of a season Formula One had in 2008. With all those bloody FIA penalties and the pro-Ferrari crap against my McLaren team, I am still happy my man won.

This is the same BB&T Chevrolet that Bowyer drove to a seventh-place finish at Martinsville Speedway six weeks ago. He also drove this Chevrolet three times last season earning a 19th-place finish at Auto Club Speedway in February, a 22nd-place finish at Texas Motor Speedway in April and an eighth-place finish at Michigan International Speedway in August. It was converted from its original downforce set up to a short-track racer over the offseason. Richmond Facts … In eight NSCS starts at RIR, Bowyer has earned one victory and four top-10 finishes. The Emporia, Kan., native has an 18.6 average start and a 10th-place average finish, third best among active drivers at the three-quarter mile Virginia short track. He has completed all 3,210 laps contested and has been running inside the top 15 for 2,277 of those laps (70.9 percent). Former Winner … Bowyer has two victories at the “Action Track,” one in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in May 2007 and one in NASCAR’s senior series in May 2008. Through Nine … The two-time NSCS race winner has earned one top-five and six top-10 finishes in the season’s first nine starts. Bowyer boasts a 12.3 average start and a 17.3 average finish. He currently sits 11th in the NSCS point standings, 237 markers behind point leader Jimmie Johnson.
