I have a 77 mustang that i just put a 79 302 in with only 3000 miles on it, i have an edelbrock 4 barrel 600 cmf carb on it(not a double pumper) holey intake that came with the motor, and i also upgraded the ignition coil to an accel performance one. the plugs are still fairly new but there the stock motorcraft ones. and im running regular unleaded fuel with 10% ethanol. When im going up a hill right around 1500rpms to about 3000 before i shift it will have a slight sputter. im thinking it could be the fuel but if its not that what else could it be? i have the carb tuned for fuel economy and the timing is set just right. i was getting spark knock until i just readjusted the timing and now thats gone, but i still have a slight sputter. also i have yet to check the ohms on the wires bc its a bit nasty outside and i have no garage to work on it in. but i did pull each plug out and sanded them down and they didnt look bad when i first pulled them out either. another thing on the car is the one collector on the one header is rusted to where there is a little cap so it is leaking, but i dont know if that would cause the motor to sputter, i do plan on getting that fixed as soon as i get paid. im just trying to get some ideas to why it would sputter like that. bc i cant really think of anything else that could cause it =/

What can cause sputtering on a 79 ford 302 with an edelbrock 4 barrel carb on it? I need both sides of the global warming issue for a presentation for a college class, the “global warming is a threat” side is easy because of all the information, however I also want to make an equally strong case for the other side as well, I’ve chosen to talk about the harm that, say cap and trade, would do to the economy, I want to talk about the negative effects that this would have on at least 5 different industries, the two I’ve thought of so far are the Automotive and Energy industries, Everyone knows all we can build right in America are inefficient trucks and muscle cars, no one wants our compacts. Also energy costs would skyrocket if it weren’t for cheap fossil fuel. Please name at least 3 other industries that have a lot to lose but cutting emissions. PS this question MUST be answered by 3:30I just thought of the airline industry, two more please. If I don’t hear any good answers I’ll have to use other parts of the shipping industry (trucking etc.)
