how do you remove a bugflector II?
I want to remove the bugflector off my jeep excecpt i don't know how since the glue or tape that keeps it on my car is very hard to get off. I have tried tugging on it and a little bit of the glue or tape came off but it did not work through out the whole shield.
Most of the bug shields are held on by double sided foam tape. The tape is made by the 3M Corp & it does really stick once it's attached.
About all you can do is keep pulling on the shield until the tape breaks loose & you can remove the shield. You might also be able to use a screwdriver & gently pry the shield off where the tape is attached at, going easy so you don't scratch the vehicle.
